Cargo heating with deck heaters
Deck heaters are for installation on deck or in closed deck trunks and
an option to heating coils in cargo heating. The cargo deck heater is
manufactured as a pressure vessel acc. to UVV and VBG 17 specifications.
The construction and water pressure tests are subject to the different class acceptance.
The DIN and AD specifications will be observed when manufactured.
The cargo deck heater is fitted with a tube bundle – easy to dismantle.
While erecting, arrangements for extracting the tube bundle (e. g. for cleaning) have to be considered.
The cargo deck heater is fitted with all necessary connection (e.g. water, hot-oil).
By a special welding procedure, the tube bundle is welded onto the plate.
This guarantees a tight seal when using heat carrier oil as heat medium.
